Draft Plan Elements
Onward Ontario, the next update to the Town of Ontario Comprehensive Plan, will be the blueprint for the future of our community -- our road map for investments in our infrastructure, our neighborhoods, businesses and our natural assets. The Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee conducted a community survey over the '20-'21 winter and engaged the community in a series of virtual workshops in March 2021. The Steering Committee synthesized the input gathered through these engagements to develop the foundational elements of the plan: Our collective core values, our community vision, our goals, objectives and an action plan for the future of Ontario. In June 2021, the Steering Committee held a second public workshop to share drafts of these elements (pictured below) and to elicit additional community input to make sure we're on the right track:
